In our everyday lives we are impacted by the media of our society. One area of media that people look to for information is the news. Here we see the facts of what is happening in our society and neighbourhoods. We see the good, with their cute little videos to lighten our moods, the everyday day hero who once again saved someone from a form of distress, or that fireman who saved some poor animal. We see the bad, criminal offences, destruction, the pain of someones loss, the brokenness of the world. We see the weather, we see current events, we see highlights from around the world, but why do we see these things. The news tells us about our reality of the world  we live in, but there are still illusions brith held here. We see the stories that people was to hear, the ones that capture our attention, that we will follow, the stories that will achieve the highest ratings.  We don’t see here about the small things, or take the time to think about the other side of the story. The news is a buissness, their job is to feed is information their goal is to have the highest ratings. This is where they hide their illusion.
